Educational Qualification for HAS Coaching in Chandigarh
A candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent from a recognized University. A candidate who has taken and passed a test that would have qualified him to take this exam but has not yet received notification of the results may apply for admission to the exam. A candidate who wants to take such a qualifying examination may apply if the qualifying examination is finished before the examination begins. If otherwise eligible, such candidates will be admitted to the examination; however, their admission will be considered provisional and subject to cancellation if they do not produce proof of passing the examination as soon as possible, but no later than two months after the examination begins, failing which their candidature will be automatically cancelled. In such cases, candidates will be required to present an original degree or a certificate from the concerned competent authority of the University / Institutions at the time of their interview, indicating that they had completed or requirements (including internship completion) for the award of degree.

Aspirants appearing for the HPPSC HPAS Examination will be selected based on the prelims and mains exam. Candidates will be selected for the mains examination only if they qualify in the prelims examination. HPAS Eligibility Criteria
HPAS is the prestigious exam conducted by HPPSC. It recruits the top layer of the state bureaucracy. HPAS notification defines the HPAS eligibility criteria.
Nationality
The candidate must be a citizen of India. Only Indian citizen can join the HPAS and other state allied services.
Educational Qualification for HPAS
A graduate degree from any recognised university is the minimum educational requirement for taking the HAS coaching online. It makes no mention of a needed minimum % in the bachelor’s degree programme. Candidates in their last year of their bachelor’s degree programme are eligible to take the HPAS exam, however their examination procedure must be completed before the exam begins. They must present the qualifying exam mark sheet either immediately after the exam or within two months of the exam’s completion.
Age limit for HPAS
The age limit defined the HPAS notification published by HPPSC. The lower age limit is 21 years and the uppers age limit is 35 years. HPPSC counts the age from January 1 of the examination year. But there are relaxations provided to the candidates belonging to certain reserved categories.
